We are looking for the best talent for a Manufacturing Supervisor to be in Leiden, Netherlands!

Join our team as a Manufacturing Supervisor ! We are seeking dedicated talent ready to ensure compliance with operating guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), while contributing to our Operations unit's success. If you have a strong background in manufacturing, leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment, we want to hear from you.


You will be responsible for:

  • Adopt a strong understanding of operating guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure compliance with all regulations. You will support our Operations unit by completing tasks accurately and on time, contributing to high-quality deliverables.

  • By sticking to standard operating procedures, you'll play a vital role in processing ingredients and new pharmaceutical products. We encourage a LEAN culture through Root Cause Problem Solving, addressing performance issues while managing Tier 1 optimally.

  • You’ll conduct regular spot checks on standardized work and lead Gemba walks to observe processes, improving efficiency. Invest time in learning process improvement methods to boost safety, quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

  • You will supervise individual contributors, ensuring effective performance management and that your team is well-staffed and trained to meet expectations.

  • Take charge of your team’s operational aspects, including workflow, performance, and compliance, while achieving team goals. Lastly, prioritize a safe working environment by documenting daily activities and promptly addressing any issues to drive successful business results.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • We are excited to invite applicants who have either a relevant MBO-4 degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a non-relevant MBO-4 degree accompanied by at least 7 years of proven experience. Candidates should also possess an MBO-4 degree along with 3 years of experience in leading teams.

  • Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential for this role. We're looking for individuals with intermediate proficiency in MS Office and entry-level skills in data analysis, as these will be valuable tools in your daily tasks.

  • A positive attitude is key; we value team members who inspire morale and enhance productivity. We encourage leading by example, especially in maintaining a calm and composed approach during challenging situations. Additionally, effective change leadership is crucial for navigating our dynamic environment.
