Janssen Biologics is currently recruiting a Capacity Planner and Performance Management Technical Expert within our Quality department. The successful candidate needs to have affinity for finance, planning and performance processes, experience in the biologics/pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry with a relevant educational background.

Within the QC laboratories of JNJ IM Supply Chain, the Leiden QC LM AT laboratories is key for the in process, release and stability testing of intermediate and final products (monoclonal antibodies and new modalities). Leiden QC is uniquely positioned as the HUB for Stability testing. It represents various combined test labs classified based on specific techniques and / or expertise. The test labs are supported by the CPPM Technical expert.

The Capacity Planner and Performance Management (CP& PM) technical expert is a Single Point of Contact (SPoC) that helps each department gain insight in their current and future expected workload and helps managers take data based laboratory forecast decisions. He or she is a local point of contact for Quality operational and project budget looking after timely Business Planning submissions, savings and spent in collaboration with finance partners.
The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

Budget
  • Coordinate Budget Planning (BP), data for network BP preparation and submission.
  • Calculating quarterly QC allocations to external partners based on completed work.
  • Quality Operational spend tracking and report
  • Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) tracking and reporting
  • Resource manager, act as active member of the weekly CAPEX resource review meeting
  • Support headcount request approval process
Performance Management
  • Report local balanced scorecard metrics
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SmartQC performance management features and analysis tools
  • Support or lead improvement projects using data analyses and projections
Lab Planning/Forecasting
  • Liaise with management team to accurately report headcount status and requirements
  • Coordinate LRFP (long range financial plan) process and related activities.
  • Setup and rollout of the workload forecasting module in SmartQC
  • QC total workload forecasting and critical issue escalation to management
  • Point of Contact for (site) Planning department and SRM (supply review meeting)
  • Actively seek and support deployment of new SmartQC forecast features
SPOC community
  • Participate in CP& PM SPOC meetings and present site specific (best practice) cases
  • Act as Point of Contact for Quality BPM CoE.
  • Acting as change agent and build and maintain team capabilities to meet current and future needs

  • University/bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Knowledge or strong affinity with data analysis and data management
  • Able to communicate complex data to a wide range of audiences (e.g. translate lab activities into financial processes and vice versa)
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skill (in English), including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • A quality, compliance and business minded demeanor and flexibility
  • Leading and implementing of new processes.
