What You Will Do: The Senior Manager, Plan & Inventory Data is responsible for leading the strategy for data to drive Demand / Supply Planning and Inventory Management, ensuring its data quality and readiness for building data-driven business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the global planning and inventory data assets strategy to accelerate the Kenvue digital transformation and drive financial and strategic business outcomes.
- Build data products for the global roll out of Anaplan, OMP, and associated digital reporting products
- Capture architecture requirements and design scalable knowledge graph infrastructures
- Lead hands-on data sourcing, harmonization, and curation for demand planning, supply planning, demand sensing, and inventory data on a global level.
- Implement product data governance, ensuring high quality data is created right the first time and appropriately managed throughout the entire data lifecycle.
- Partner with the global and regional planning teams, data management, and other functions and operations teams to define and implement data standards and ensure value is being added end to end through data.
- Propose and support process changes together with the relevant functions, to ensure data quality from creation. For this, leverage advanced analytics, intelligent automation, data science, and other cutting-edge technologies.
- Build and lead a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team culture, where different viewpoints are visibly encouraged and supported.
- Continuously raise the bar on performance, technical depth, product management results, and people leadership skills.
- Directly manage professional-level team members across diverse functions globally including, e.g., Data Analysts, Product Owners, Business Analysts.
What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Specialization in supply chain with experience in data engineering, data science or advanced analytics fields is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of business experience with at least 4 years of experience working with supply chain data with preference toward demand and supply planning.
- Hands-on experience with operational forecasting, tactical forecasting, production planning, material scheduling and inventory optimization data.
- Proficiency analyzing data, segmenting, rationalizing, defining, tracing lineage, influencing ownership, as well as ensuring it is fit-for-purpose and ready for usage.
- Experience in the use of and creation of Graph Databases.
- Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques.
- Experience defining data management strategy and associated operational standards (e.g., Data Lifecycle Management, Data Quality standards).
- General understanding of Supply Chain functions (planning, procurement, manufacturing, delivery/logistics, quality, finance).
- Experience with ETL processes (extraction, transformation, and loading) between different systems.
- Experience leading large, cross-functional projects or programs.
- Strong strategic mind, outstanding critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical requirements, process information quickly, and assess impacts to data elements.
- Outstanding stakeholder management experience at all levels.
- Superior influencing and collaboration skills.
- Thought leadership with an agile mindset, experienced in shaping solutions, with strong communication and partnership skills.
- Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results.
- Proficiency in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master's degree and/or PhD in a data analytics field.
- Prior experience leading digital transformation and driving capability maturity across enterprises.
- Experience in working with major cloud providers (MS Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with material / product management, PLM, other relevant processes/systems.
- Familiarity with financial statements and methodologies (P& L, Balance Sheet, COGs, ROI, IRR).
