Johnson & Johnson Medtech Surgery Supply Chain is recruiting for an External Operations Plan Manager, located in Zug, Switzerland.

As an integral member of Johnson & Johnson Medtech Surgery Supply Chain Planning Team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our patients and doctors are getting the surgical devices they need when they need them.

As External Operations Plan Manager, you will:

  • Lead External Operations Plan Team, an international and diverse team under limited supervision.

  • Plan inventory per sales forecast, to meet both customer service and inventory targets.

  • Report the shortages and surpluses of company products to management and be responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • Develop and implement inventory policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures. Analyze changes in the inventory relating to supply, demand and pricing.

  • Follow through on problems related to customer invoicing, receipt, payment and delivery as necessary.

  • Improve profitability through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements across different functions. Resolve difficult problems and customer complaints. Be a great partner with key customers.

  • Responsible to lead process improvements using but not limited to Digitalisation.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain related field is required

  • Master’s degree is strongly preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 8-10 years of related experience in Supply Chain / Operations is required

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience with JD Edwards, SAP, OMP or similar MRP planning systems is required

  • Strong analytical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel is required

  • Excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills are required

  • Ability to be highly detail oriented with outstanding follow-up skills required

  • Ability to resolve issues: both technical and supply based required

  • Ability to identify and manage business priorities required

  • Ability to lead improvement initiatives required

Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical supply chains is strongly preferred

  • Proven knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices, and procedures is preferred

  • Working in a global, matrix environment with a lot of independency under limited supervision is preferred

  • Experience in Project Management of Process/System Improvements

Location requirements

  • Primary Location is Zug, Switzerland. Other locations will be considered on a case by case basis.

Other

  • Travel may be required up to 20% of time

  • This position may require ability and flexibility to work on weekends/off hours for patient support.
