Guest Services Representative (Full and Part-Time, Seasonal) - Winter 26/27

SUMMARY The Guest Services Representative role is a critical part of the guest experience at Grand Targhee and serves as the first touch point for guests. This role creates an above-average experience for guests by sharing information and expertise and selling all resort activities, tickets, and passes. This role works closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience, and that guests have everything required to enjoy the resort. A key part of every employee's job is to serve as a Targhee ambassador, engaging the guest at every opportunity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Conduct ticket, pass, and activity sales. 2. Create reservations for all resort and some offsite activities. 3. Checking guests in for their reserved activities. 4. Provide customer service and resolve guest concerns. 5. Maintain extensive knowledge of resort activities/information and share information to visiting guests. 6. Cross sell other resort products. 7. Balance POS system. 8. Some job sharing may be required. RESPONSIBILITIESTO SAFETY Protect the safety of self, workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests. Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay. Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor. Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resorts Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals. Operate equipment safelyso that itwill not lead to injury to yourself or others. Drivein accordance withthe law and Grand Targhee Resort policies. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. WORK SCHEDULE Must commit to 5 days per week, hours of availability must be flexible. Will be required to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends andholidaysand there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may berequiredbased onthe businesslevels. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school Diploma or GED (General Education Degree). Prior Guest Service experience required. Experience with computers (experience with sales/databases, Word, and Excel preferred). QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent customer services skills are required. Cash Handling Experience. Prior guest service experience is required. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, commonfractions, and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements. LANGUAGE SKILLS Proficiency in English required. In addition, Spanish proficiency preferred but not required. Ability to read andcomprehendsimple instructions, shortcorrespondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Excellent verbal communication skills. REASONING ABILITY Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
