Youth Services System Inc is hiring a SOR (State Opioid Response) Regional Coordinator in Wheeling, WV. This is a full-time position.

Job Description Job Title: SOR Regional Coordinator Reports To: Director of Overdose Prevention Services Last Modified: June 10, 2026 Department: Prevention Services Program: SOR Sub-Program: Overdose Prevention FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $ 18-20 an hour Position Status: Full-Time Expected Hours of Work: 8: 00 am-4: 00pm (M-F). Additional days or hours may be required Travel required: Frequent local travel Job Summary: The SOR Regional Coordinator will plan and coordinate overdose prevention and early intervention strategies, be trained to facilitate trainings in the community, outreach to vulnerable populations to increase access to services and disseminate naloxone. Support grassroots efforts meeting the needs of individuals in recovery. Attend professional development trainings, state and national conferences. Duties and Responsibilities: Use Local, Regional, State and Federal Data to inform the Strategic Prevention Framework & Share Data with Stakeholders Draft Annual Comprehensive Prevention Plan (SOR) in Compliance with Grant Goals, Objectives & Outcomes, using Culturally Appropriate & Evidence-Based Practices Coordinate All Plan Activity to Implement the Annual Comprehensive Prevention Plan in Compliance with Grant Goals, Objectives & Outcomes Network and Strengthen Partnerships with Local Organizations and Individuals to Implement Plan Activity Support & Sustain Local Community Coalitions Provide BBH and Marshall University Approved Education Attend All Required Trainings and Meetings Prepare, Submit & Maintain Monthly Activity Reporting Forms, Plan Progress Reports and Other Required Documentation Research and Assist with Securing Alternative Funding Sources to Implement & Sustain Projects Perform Other Duties as Assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Experience in prevention, early intervention strategies and community organizing preferred. Experience with outreach and networking preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Knowledge of and ability to access existing community resources and services. Familiarity with evidenced-based programming a plus. Education and Experience: Certification in IC & RC Peer Recovery Specialist Eligible Preferred.
