Medical Biller

The Medical Biller is responsible for: Working with the agencys accounts receivable and billing functions.Entering client services.Posting payments to client/non-client accounts.Processes billing claims/statements.Reconciles clients accounts via EOBs and client payments.Responsible for providing excellent customer service to all clients and staff.Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner.Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all billing processes.Other duties as necessary and assigned. A high school diploma is required. Two to five years of experience in a similar position that includes medical billing and accounts receivable is required. Medical billing training is preferred. Must be familiar with accounting office functions including data entry, reconciling client accounts, familiarity with processing claims for Medicaid, Medicare and insurance companies. Must be proficient in computer applications and in processing large amounts of data. Must be flexible with work assignments/hours. Familiarity with behavioral health organizations helpful. Work location is in the office. Full-time position with generous benefits package. $19.00/hr and up based on experience
