Job Description

University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation is hiring a Patient Scheduling Representative - Family Medicine in Cottage Grove, WI. This is a full-time position.

Work Schedule:
Part-time, 90% FTE, day shift. Monday- Friday within the 7: 30 am - 5: 30 pm, no weekend rotation required. Hours may vary based upon operational needs of the clinic.

Pay:
Pay starts at $19.59 per hour, work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.

  • We are seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative to:
    Schedule appointments via phone, in-person or electronic correspondence.
  • Take incoming phone calls from patients and their families to assist them with their appointment scheduling needs.
  • Make outgoing phone calls to patients to schedule their appointments.
  • Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • No minimum education required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
  • Associate's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or other related field Preferred


Work Experience

  • 6 months previous experience in an office or customer service environment Required
  • Previous experience working in healthcare Preferred
  • Previous experience scheduling of patients Preferred
  • Previous experience with answering phones, greeting clients and customers in person Preferred
