Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department.

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
  • Provide bedside first-assist coverage for Robotic Surgical Cases for the following surgical services: Thoracic, Minimally Invasive, Transplant and Surgical Oncology for surgical efficiency and patient safety
  • Assist in navigating patient through the perioperative experience from Pre-op area, intraoperatively until PACU
  • Communicate with all members of perioperative team regarding physician requests, preferences, supplies and equipment related to robotic procedures

Education:

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner:

Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.

If Physician Assistant:

Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: : Active RN, RN First Assist, and APNP license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Emergency; Family; Gerontology.

If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin ANDactive PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire ANDCPR certification.
