Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM, plus an afterhours/weekend on call rotation. Applicants hired into this position can work remotely from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Applications Analyst / Senior Applications Analyst - Resolute HB / PB to:
  • Plan and lead projects related to Information Systems in our EMR (electronic medical record) system.
  • Lead in the development of workflows, system configuration, change documentation and support of operations on application functionality.
  • Use your excellent communication skills to share information with users within the department and organization.
  • Have a good understanding of technical infrastructure when applicable such as networking, data interfaces, and server administration.
  • Provide consultative Information Services advice to departmental and organizational leadership and guiding other employees within the department.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field Required
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience and education may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field Preferred


Work Experience

  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions. Required
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with operational partners to improve workflows and simplify processes. Required
  • Demonstrated success improving operational excellence, eliminating waste, and reducing technical and financial debt. Required
  • Demonstrated success teaching and mentoring. Required
  • Demonstrated success creating trusted-advisor relationships. Required
  • Demonstrated success in design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions using the applications, tools, and platforms relevant to the position Preferred
  • Three (3) to five (5) years progressively responsible experience in an IS applications field. Preferred
  • Demonstrated success working on or leading initiatives that use agile methods. Preferred
  • Experience in information services or technology, direct clinical care, health care operations, or health care administration. Preferred
  • Healthcare subject matter expertise including at least five (5) years experience in a health system, academic medical center, or health payer organization. Preferred
  • Experience supporting systems and/or operations in a 24x7 healthcare setting. Preferred


Licenses & Certifications

  • Vendor (e.g. Epic, Oracle, other) certifications as relevant for the position, per department guidelines Preferred
  • CPHIMS, PMP, ITIL Preferred
