Description:

Work Schedule:
Part-time, day shift. Monday through Friday, 1-2 shifts per week, 1-2 hour shifts. Flexibility with hours. Saturday and Sunday hours 9: 00AM - 3: 00PM. Rotating weekends with 2 other student help positions. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Student Help - Microbiology to:
  • Support the lab by making reagents, stocking supplies, aliquoting reagents, filing and xeroxing while using proper laboratory techniques.
  • Provide assistance to the team by compiling data for quality monitors and entering data into spreadsheets.
  • Interact, communicate and assist with Clinical Lab staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current student in a post secondary college or university Required
  • Field of study related to department Preferred


Work Experience

  • General customer service/ administrative experience or experience in field of study Required
