60% FTE, evening/night shift, primarily 7: 00pm - 7: 30am, includes weekends and some holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This position will work at 8501 Excelsior Dr. in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
- Assist referring providers with urgent care needs for their adult and pediatric patients. You may arrange transportation on UW Med Flight or CHETA (Children's Hospital Emergency Transport Ambulance). These services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Act as the clinical liaison to centralize and simplify the process of providing the appropriate level of care for the patient.
- Ensure a multidisciplinary team approach while working to provide access for the best care of the patient and family.

Qualifications
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year of relevant clinical RN experience in acute care medical/surgical nursing Required
- Recent experience in phone triage, phone processing, discharge planning, or case management - Preferred
- Previous experience within the UW Health System - Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Registration as a professional nurse in the state of Wisconsin Required
