Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday 8: 30AM - 5: 00PM. No weekends or holidays. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a
Pathology Reporting Specialist - Surgical Pathology to:
- Partner with Dept. of Pathology sub-specialists to coordinate patient care correspondence/materials, triage patient care related telephone encounters, coordinate with clinical teams for tumor board case review, and whole slide scanning.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all case materials, documents, tests ordered, and patient care reports.
- Facilitate the production of materials for research/study requests, including requests for clinical trial eligibility.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- Formal training or equivalent in work experience in medical transcription. Preferred
Work Experience
- 6 months of experience in transcription or equivalent experience working in a medical office environment Required
- 1 year of experience in medical transcription Preferred
