Work Schedule:

40% FTE, 16 hours/week. Variable shifts scheduled between the hours of 5: 00 PM - 9: 00 PM Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional Saturdays 8: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to:
  • Supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym.
  • Conduct initial interviews and evaluate new members to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions.
  • Orient new participants to the rules of the facility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field Required


Work Experience

  • Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults Required
  • Previous healthcare experience Preferred
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred


Licenses & Certifications

  • Current CPR/AED certification Required
