Work Schedule:

This is a part-time, 50% FTE position. Scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday from 2: 30pm - 6: 30pm until October 25 th . PLEASE NOTE: Starting October 28 th the schedule would change to Monday through Friday from 3: 30pm - 7: 30pm. Flexibility with schedule required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We're seeking a Driver to:

• Operate a UW Health fleet vehicle to pick up and deliver a variety of materials, including supplies, medical equipment, labs, and medical records.
• Load and unload items for delivery.
• Work with both internal and external customers and demonstrate great customer service skills.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and monitor the vehicle's oil and fuel levels.
• Follow proper procedures and safety precautions while operating a motor vehicle.

Education:

Preferred - High School diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

Preferred - Experience in delivery setting involving multiple locations

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Valid Wisconsin Driver's License

Eastpark Medical Center - UW Health's new state-of-the-art ambulatory facility will transform the patient experience and offer cutting-edge proton therapy. This 469, 000-square-foot ambulatory facility will house many specialties, including women's complex care, adult cancer care, advanced imaging and laboratory services and innovative clinical trials. It will be located across from East Madison Hospital on Eastpark Blvd. and is slated to open in fall 2024.
