90% FTE, evening, 8/12 hour shifts between the hours of 11: 00am - 3: 30am, weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Care Team Leader to:
  • Be a front-line leader to motivate and lead nursing staff while working in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
  • Be part of a remarkable team of nurses, providers, and support staff, and have the opportunity to provide exceptional emergency care for patients of all acuities and ages.
  • Ensure delegation and supervision of care in accordance with nurse practice acts and professional nursing role.

Education:

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred.

Work Experience:

Minimum - One (1) year ED clinical experience.

Preferred - One (1) year of experience in Emergency Department charge nurse role. Five (5) years ED clinical experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin, CPR certification ACLS and PALS certification or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred - Certification as CEN or CPEN.
