Market Teller I

This Position Reports To: Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain confidentiality of customer information and activities
• Greet customers and assist in conversations about banking products to recommend banking products/services
• Maintain and balance within established standards
• May work at multiple branches based on market needs
• Contribute to overall branch results, including customer experience
• Comply with bank policies, procedures and banking regulations
• Process transactions up to designated limits using sound judgment
• Demonstrate understanding and comply with established security procedures
• Become proficient with job-related systems and equipment
• Participate in the general upkeep and appearance of the Branch
• Participate in available training opportunities, including completion of ABA Teller Certification
• Participate in referral program
• Other duties as needed or assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

• High school graduate or active student
• Two years work experience with the public preferred
• Basic math aptitude and proficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles helpful
• Proficiency with basic technology
• Professional image
• Basic sales experience
• Awareness of general banking services
• Active in social and/or extracurricular activities preferred
