Job Description:

Supplemental Health Care has partnered with a Behavioral Health facility in Middleton, Wisconsin that is looking to hire a Chief Nursing Officer. This is a direct hire opportunity paying $150, 000 - $175, 000 per year.

The Chief Nursing Officer leads all nursing operations to ensure safe, effective, and compliant behavioral health care. This onsite leadership role oversees nursing staff, resources, and clinical programs in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of management experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Behavioral Health, Critical Care, ED, or ICU
• BSN required; Master's degree preferred
• Strong background in regulatory compliance, quality, and clinical operations
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and drive performance

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily nursing operations, staffing, and productivity
• Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff accountability
• Monitor census and acuity to adjust staffing and resources appropriately
• Direct quality initiatives, patient safety, infection control, and incident management
• Collaborate with executive leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Manage budgets, supplies, and clinical documentation standards
• Support surveys, audits, and long-term strategic planning
