Cemetery Grounds Manager

Responsibilities: Oversee and schedule all aspects of grounds and building maintenance, burial preparation and scheduling, landscaping for the cemeteryMaintain equipment, tools, vehicles for the propertyTrain on safety programs such as OSHA, PPE, lock out/tag out proceduresSupervise and direct the full time, seasonal and summer workers to be sure tasks are carried out to company standards, within appropriate timelines and completed safelyManage the use and storage of equipment and suppliesMaintain the cleanliness and appearance of all grounds, buildings, equipment and vehicles Qualifications: Strong management and organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsExperience with computers and technologyMechanical experienceMust be physically able to stand 8 hours, lift a minimum of 30 #, twist, climb.Backhoe experienceLandscaping and tree maintenance experienceAdministrative skills to handle paperwork, record keeping, and reporting related to grounds management activitiesKnowledge of facilities management principles and practices for effective planning and execution of maintenance activitiesPositive attitude with a willingness for continuous improvement, growth and learning
