Phillips-Medis ize, a Molex Company is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development and manufacturing solutions to the p harmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries. Our New Richmond, Wisconsin location is seeking a Utility Operator to join our team and support manufacturing operations.

Shift: 12 hour rotating nights, 5pm - 5am

The leading task of quality control involves enforcing the use of specified processes and materials, ensuring the qualification of operators and equipment, and making a series of planned measurements to determine if quality standards are being met.

What You Will Do

  • Schedule Manufacturing Operators on daily jobs prior to start of shift, coordinate breaks, and op rotation during shift.
  • Coordinate all new Plastic Operator training. Monitor all new hire training and sign off upon completion.
  • Assist Team Lead in management of production floor schedule, and training.
  • Daily communication with Utility Operators from other shifts to ensure consistency, teamwork, and a successful shift handoff
  • Continuously monitor production floor 6s and provide real-time feedback to production floor personnel
  • Communicate to Technical Production Staff to work priorities
  • Coach and support team to follow standard work processes
  • Track and graph throughput and downtime reasons throughout the shift
  • Assist as operator and covering breaks
  • Ability to identify workflow constraints
  • Verify that all production documentation is acceptable and within specifications along with GDP
  • Train new operators to the line and provide long-term mentoring through positive re-enforcement
  • Communicate daily to team leader, and other shifts to ensure consistency


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 6+ months production experience
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Knowledge of injection molding equipment and processes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing system SAP and MII
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of MS Excel or MS Word, or similar software programs
  • Certified to operate a forklift
