Your Job Phillips Medisize, a Molex Company, is seeking a
Packaging Engineer to provide support to manufacturing and engineering in New Richmond, WI. The objective of this role is to design, develop and implement packaging solutions that protect products, optimize manufacturing efficiency and meet regulatory and customer requirements.

What You Will Do- Lead continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance packaging processes, ensuring corrective actions and high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to define and achieve business goals related to packaging operations and operational effectiveness.
- Interpret and apply packaging and sterilization requirements to meet customer specifications and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the packaging subject matter expert supporting Sales, Cost Estimators, Purchasing, and Business Development in quoting, sourcing, and trade show support.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely execution of packaging implementations.
- Design and optimize manufacturing line layouts to support device assembly and packaging operations efficiently.
- Identify and assess software, hardware, equipment, and resource needs to support packaging and labeling functions.
- Partner with Project Engineers and Program Managers to facilitate smooth transitions from development to production.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and packaging contractors to support operational and project needs.
- Ensure compliance with GMP and relevant regulatory guidelines by promoting a culture of quality and adherence across packaging activities.
- Extended travel to other facilities may be required to support business needs.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, or 5+ years industry experience
- Demonstrated understanding of current regulatory requirements relevant to packaging
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for packaging design.
- Proven project management experience and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
What Will Put You Ahead- 3+ years of experience in packaging engineering, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time
- Experience in capital equipment purchasing, manufacturing operations and regulatory along with knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 13485 and GMP guidelines
- Ability to work with internal and external customers in a productive and team approach
