Description:
What You'll DoIn this role, you will:
- Support daily logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
- Partner with plant teams on material planning, inventory management, and material movement.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and carriers to resolve operational issues and improve service levels.
- Analyze freight cost, carrier performance, and service levels to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and report key logistics metrics using TMS reporting tools.
- Assist with implementation and testing of new processes and system enhancements.
- Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration across logistics, purchasing, finance, supply chain, and operations teams.
- Provide training to plants, suppliers, and internal users on logistics processes and systems.
- Support carrier payment processes and logistics reporting activities.
What You BringEducation & Experience- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in transportation or logistics.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems and supply chain software preferred.
Key Skills for Success- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends.
- Understanding of transportation and logistics systems, including carrier networks and cost drivers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Work Environment & Travel- Office‑based role with regular interaction in manufacturing environments.
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel; ability to obtain a passport required.
- May require flexibility outside standard business hours to support operations.
