Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide effective business and financial analysis to the Strategic Sourcing group and ORBIS leadership

2. Ensure accuracy of financial statements during month-end and year-end closing. Perform general ledger account reconciliations for assigned areas of responsibility.

3. Month end closing journal entries

4. Review and analysis of Purchase Price Variance (PPV)

5. Prepare various financial reports to give the business insight into performance

6. Assist with resolving vendor invoice issues as they arise

7. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly financial forecasts

8. Manage standard costing of raw materials

9. Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis

10. Continuously look for ways to simplify, standardize & automate recurring tasks and procedures

11. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification

Level Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance

Level Desired
  • Master's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA
  • CMA

Description

Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.

Work Experience

Required
  • Prior Accounting experience 0-3 years
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel

Desired
  • SAP experience
  • Tableau/Hyperion experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
