Key Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Review demand and create production schedules on primary and secondary operations to meet and exceed service expectations of the customer.
2. Maintain all planning master data.
3. Monitor raw materials inventory levels and focus on meeting monthly inventory targets.
4. Manage supplier relationships and provide feedback to ensure customer needs are met.
5. Review demand and execute purchases to support manufacturing distribution.
6. Primary communicator to sales and customer support around orders and lead times.
7. Participate in departmental "load balancing" with new vendors as assigned
8. Other duties as assigned.
Education/CertificationLevel RequiredHigh School Diploma or Equivalent
Level DesiredBachelor's Degree
Work ExperienceRequired - 2-4 Years of relevant Experience
- Major ERP system Experience
Desired - Experience in leading Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- SAP Experience
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities1. Experience in Scheduling or Purchasing in a manufacturing environment.
2. Experience in plastic injection molding operations.
3. Possess strong judgement and decision-making skills.
4. Can prioritize to achieve deadlines in a fast pace environment.
5. Ability to handle the stress of working with others.
6. Availability outside of normal business hours.
7. Ability to lead by example.
Travel Requirements- Ability to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally to support the business, including overnight stays and extended work hours during work meetings, travel may include weekends
- Ability to obtain a passport
