The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties, however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Set up, run and maintain the Plate washer.
• Inspect and file plates in proper storage area after cleaning.
• Maintain and store print cylinders and print sleeves.
• Assist platemaking team with maintaining printing plate inventory, completing quality inspections, and trimming plates.
• Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.
• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned area.
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements.
• Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Other Requirements (education, experience, skills/knowledge)

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Computer knowledge preferred

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Shift: Monday - Friday, 1st shift (7am - 3pm), overtime as required.
