Description:
Essential Functions: - Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
- Be aware of responsibilities and accountability as clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems
- Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, special work instructions, and any other special requirements
- Review the schedule and produce sheets in accordance with the requirements indicated on the schedule
- Set up the sheeter and keep it running properly
- Monitor sheeter throughout the run to maintain sheet uniformity and sheet quality in relation to meeting press ready requirements
- Responsible for weekly preventive maintenance
- Responsible for sheeter operation and being qualified to operate auxiliary equipment
- Must be qualified to operate lift truck equipment
- Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
- Accurately enter information into the computer system
- Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
- Play an active role in the maintenance and housekeeping of the assigned to the sheeter and surrounding work area
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Assist with overtime and vacation coverage in pressroom

- Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
- Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Must have good color perception
