Job Description
Menasha Packaging is hiring a Press Helper in Neenah, WI. This is a full-time position.
Essential Job Duties:

Education
Shift:
- Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
- Be aware of responsibilities and accountability as clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems
- Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements
- Review the schedule and stage required stock and materials needed for upcoming jobs
- Maintain the fountain solution levels
- Assist with the removal, replacement, and maintenance of rollers
- Must be qualified to operate Toppy and Automaton skid turners.
- Responsible for weekly preventive maintenance on Toppy skid turner
- Responsible for weekly preventive maintenance in Chemical Room and housekeeping duties
- Must be qualified to operate lift truck equipment
- Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance
- Play an active role in the maintenance and housekeeping of the assigned press and surrounding work area
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Press Operator or Feeder Operator
- Act as a backup Feeder in all functions of the feeder position as needed
- Set up the press feeder and keep it running properly
- Install the proper inks in the correct press units and maintains their levels during the press run
- Adjust press throughout the run to maintain sheet position and registration
- Assist with decisions regarding the quality of finished product
- Complete required quality inspections and paperwork
- Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
- Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Press experience preferred
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
