Menasha Packaging is hiring a Industrial Engineer in Neenah, WI. This is a full-time position.

- Executes strategic objectives of engineering function to ensure operational reliability consistent with the needs of the broader organization and to ensure the maximum availability and longevity of assets
- Supports and/or conducts equipment feasibility studies for recommendations for investment; contributes to development of capital expenditure plan
- Designs and manages capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
- Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to implement capital investment projects to drive operational excellence
- Supports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, and process changes
- Assures all tasks are performed in a safe manner, and comply with all company, local, state, and federal requirements
- Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge and understanding of industry developments, trends and experiences related to manufacturing of products or product components
- Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for designing, building and managing the manufacture of new products
- Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables for the design of new products and the enhancement of existing products; ability to apply the methodology in diverse scenarios
- Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables for manufacturing new or enhancing existing products
- Knowledge and associated ability to apply technical, scientific and mathematical knowledge to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention
- Knowledge of technologies and applications used in manufacturing products and in the optimization of manufacturing processes
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in an office environment with frequent time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting
- Frequent travel required
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
