Job Description

Menasha Packaging is hiring a Department Technician -Die Cutting in Neenah, WI. This is a full-time position.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Plan, schedule and monitor maintenance projects and repairs
  • Ensure all work orders are completed on time and meets expectations of the requested
  • Identify current and future needs and problems and develop plan to maintain
  • Evaluate outside services and coordinate service as needs arise
  • Design, fabricate and weld projects as needed
  • Help coordinate special building projects, additions, and equipment installations with management
  • Help develop annual maintenance budget with management
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for maintenance department
  • Maintain recordkeeping of all maintenance work orders and projects
  • Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Execute routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected breakdowns
  • Assist with all training (Operators, Back-up Operators, and Helpers) within the department
  • Previous experience operating or repairing industrial die-cutting equipment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy manufacturing environment P
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications


Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Formal vocational training or a degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred but not required
