Job Description

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

1. Assists maintenance mechanic with minor repairs.

2. Assembles or makes minor furniture and equipment repairs.

3. Replaces burned out lighting and properly disposes of light fixtures in building.

4. Assists with the snow removal on-site.

5. Keeps buildings clean, in an orderly condition, and in good state of repair.

6. Vacuums, sweeps, mops, and scrubs corridors, stairways and restrooms according to approved practices.

7. Removes litter and recycling from lunchrooms, offices or other areas.

8. Perform minor painting and touchups within the building.

9. Assists in lawn and grounds maintenance.

10. Demonstrates professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

11. Creates and sustains positive and effective interpersonal relationships in the workplace.

12. Communicates a warm, caring and respectful atmosphere to visitors, staff and community members that focus on quality customer service.

13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Candidate will be currently enrolled in high school and eligible to participate in the GPS program.

1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner.

2. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business.

3. Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed.

6. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
