Job Description

Menasha Packaging is hiring a 2nd/3rd Shift Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Technicians in Hartford, WI. This is a full-time position.

We are currently hiring both Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and Electrical Maintenance Technicians .
Shift Availability
  • 2nd Shift: 2: 00 PM - 10: 00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 10: 00 PM - 6: 00 AM


Pay Range

Mechanical Maintenance Technician
  • $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

Electrical Maintenance Technician
  • $38.00 - $46.00 per hour
What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and complete urgent repairs.
  • Install, modify, and fabricate machine components and replacement parts.
  • Support equipment upgrades, machine installations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Complete general facility maintenance including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and building repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Manage maintenance inventory and coordinate parts procurement with vendors.
  • Prioritize and complete maintenance work orders based on production needs.
  • Assist with employee training on equipment operation, safety procedures, and basic maintenance practices.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Motors and drives
    • Conveyors
    • Hydraulics and pneumatics
    • Sensors and control systems
    • Electrical wiring and control panels
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, grinders, saws, and drills.
  • Ability to work safely around production machinery and equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and additional hours as needed.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a constant state of alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
