Menasha Packaging is hiring a 2nd & 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Hartford, WI. This is a full-time position.

Join a growing manufacturing team where your technical expertise keeps operations running safely and efficiently. We are seeking skilled Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technicians to support production equipment, facility systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Schedule:

2nd Shift: 2: 00 PM - 10: 00 PM
OR
3rd Shift: 10: 00 PM - 6: 00 AM

Pay:
  • Mechanical Maintenance Technician: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
  • Electrical Maintenance Technician: $38.00 - $46.00 per hour


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify root causes to minimize downtime
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform urgent repairs as needed
  • Install, modify, and fabricate equipment components and replacement parts
  • Support equipment upgrades, machine installations, and continuous improvement projects
  • Complete facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
  • Maintain the appearance and condition of the facility through housekeeping and groundskeeping activities
  • Prioritize and complete work orders based on operational needs
  • Manage maintenance inventory and coordinate with vendors for parts and supplies
  • Assist in training employees on equipment operation, safety procedures, and basic maintenance practices
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, control panels, sensors, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience using hand and power tools, including drills, saws, grinders, mills, and welding equipment
  • Ability to work safely in a production environment with moving machinery and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as business needs require
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a constant state of alertness in a safety-sensitive position
