Ess en t i a l J o b F un c t i on s

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all- inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform the overall administration of Menasha Corporation H& W Benefit Plans
  • Recommend changes or modifications to existing benefit programs
  • Lead design and implementation of new benefits programs or policies
  • Serve as liaison between the benefits department and third-party administrators (TPA), plant HR staff and employees, providing assistance and problem resolution for benefit plans
  • Administer benefits enrollment and termination process
  • Handles benefits related inquiries from internal customers
  • Coordinate and carry out all plan compliance related work
  • Utilize advanced excel abilities to conduct plan analysis, audits, adjustments, and reporting
  • Work with TPA on plan documents and employee notices/education
  • Participate in area and industry surveys
  • Administer all benefit plan funding and file exchanges
  • Keep current in all aspects of Human Resources through formal and informal training, participation in local and national professional organizations, continues learning and reading, and general professional curiosity


E du c a t i o n & Ex p e ri en c e
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other relevant fields
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with benefit plans
  • Strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of benefit plan programs, processes, issues and considerations
  • Ability to implement benefit plan programs
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws affecting benefit plan practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proven record of exceling in detail-oriented work
  • Ability to solve problems independently and ask questions as appropriate


Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily works in an office environment
  • Occasional travel
