The Senior Outreach Counselor plays a key role in supporting and training program providers through regular sessions and ongoing communication. This position involves travel, attending recruitment events, resolving escalated issues, and managing high-priority concerns. The Specialist collaborates with clients and stakeholders to implement policy changes, stays current on project updates, and completes additional assignments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular one-on-one or group training sessions for existing providers, necessitating travel.
- Attend and actively participate in recruitment events to attract new providers to the program.
- Handle escalated provider issues efficiently and effectively.
- Address urgent concerns related to high visibility providers, ensuring swift resolutions.
- Offer ongoing support to designated providers as assigned.
- Collaborate with client, fellow contractors, and stakeholders to communicate and implement - operational policy changes.
- Stay updated on project details and changes.
- Extensive travel is an inherent part of the role.
- Fulfill additional assignments as directed by management.
-Cold calling clients
-Some travel is required
-Attend and host job fairs as needed
-schedule meetings with participants
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required and 4+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Have prior labor market trend experience preferred
-Prior experience working with diverse group of individuals preferred
-Prior network and relationship building skills preferred
-Attention to detail
-Prior resume building experience preferred
-Comfortable with public speaking

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
