As the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for all integrated marketing efforts at Lands’ End Outfitters. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking, exceptional leadership, and the ability to execute complex multi-channel marketing campaigns. As the Senior Director, you will lead a high-performing team, collaborate across departments, and work closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with business objectives. The position will also require a data-driven approach to ensure marketing ROI and continuous improvement in performance.
Strategic Leadership and Vision:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive integrated marketing strategy that supports key business objectives, enhances brand positioning, and drives customer acquisition and retention.
- Lead the marketing function by setting clear priorities and aligning team goals with overall Outfitters strategy. Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to help position the brand as a leader in the market.
- Collaborate with senior executives (Sales, Product, Customer Success, etc.) to align marketing programs with business goals and customer needs, ensuring a consistent and impactful narrative across all touchpoints.
- Own the customer journey by driving initiatives that foster awareness, engagement, lead generation, and customer retention.
Campaign Strategy and Execution:
- Lead the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Channels include digital, content marketing, paid media, email, catalog, social media, and PR.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time, on budget, and with maximum impact.
- Own the integration- of marketing tactics across all customer touchpoints and ensure alignment with the sales funnel. Lead efforts to refine and optimize lead generation, conversion, and nurturing strategies.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Build and develop a high-performing marketing team, providing coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities to support individual and collective growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure marketing campaigns are fully integrated and aligned with the goals of product development, sales, and customer success.
Data-Driven Insights and Optimization:
- Measure, analyze, and report on the performance of all marketing programs, using data to optimize campaigns and ensure a clear ROI.
- Leverage data and analytics to refine customer personas, optimize targeting, and drive continuous improvements in campaign performance.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in B2B marketing, ensuring that the company remains ahead of the curve in digital transformation and marketing innovation.
Budgeting and Resource Management:
- Own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across marketing programs and channels. Regularly track and report on spend and performance.
- Ensure cost-effective execution of marketing campaigns while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting business objectives.
Brand Development and Market Positioning:
- Enhance brand equity through cohesive brand strategies, consistent messaging, and high-impact content that resonates with target audiences.
- Champion brand positioning across all marketing touchpoints, ensuring alignment with company values, vision, and market differentiation.
- Build thought leadership and industry presence by developing content strategies that position the company as a trusted authority in its field.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in B2B or marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.
- Strong background in demand generation, content marketing, digital marketing, and brand building.
- Experience managing large, cross-functional teams and collaborating with C-level executives.
- Extensive experience in analyzing and optimizing marketing performance using data and analytics.
Skills
- Leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in marketing automation platforms and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Deep understanding of B2B buyer behavior, lead generation, sales enablement, and customer retention.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders and executives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
