Under direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Inspection Management, responsible for all aspects associated with thoroughly and accurately researching and locating any discrepancies in QA inspections inventory in multiple warehouse sites, communicating the results with the appropriate inventory groups and QA inspection management, and liquidating defective merchandise.
Position Analysis:
- Responsible for daily QA receiving reports, including keying of audit sample cartons and updating and loading QA Audit Database.
- Responsible for locating and adjusting backordered merchandise
- Communicate with multiple inventory groups on daily basis, ensure proper follow-up on inventory questions related to QA
- Perform daily inventory adjustment activities and prepare all paperwork associated with sending merchandise to charity, outlet stores and vendors.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies through extensive usage of computer programs; ILIN, ULOG, PORA, PROD, SKIQ, PPQU, WHSE and Easytrieve
- Prepare and process stock transfers of merchandise from QA to other departments.
- Actively participates in all functions and tasks involved in physical inventory.
- Set up verification audits for all vendor and in-plant audits – send verification requests to all LE distribution centers. Monitor/record overseas audit results. Communicate audit summary discrepancies to vendors.
- Monitor all new VCA (Vendor Certified Audits) and in-plant auditors for certification purposes.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of LE computer programs to include Outlook, RAMIDS, Excel, Word, WHSE, UHST and QA Audit, Business Objects.
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks with constantly changing priorities, limited supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to include good telephone and professional business letter composition skills.
- Flexibility working between warehouse locations, changing work hours with limited notice.
- Strong accounting skills – experience working with inventory and filing systems. Highly organized, accurate and detailed orientated.
- Knowledge of LE warehouse functions and shipping methods.
- Licensed fork lift/crane operator – able to operate pallet jack.
- Frequently lift carton from ground to above 4-5 feet to shelf or work space.
