Job Description
Lands End Inc is hiring a Manager Sales, Lands' End Business Outfitters in Dodgeville, WI. This is a full-time position.
As Sales Manager, Strategic Grow Accounts with Lands’ End Business Outfitters, you are responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Account Executives to achieve revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and profitability objectives. This role provides strategic direction, performance management, sales coaching, and market leadership to drive new business development and expand relationships within existing accounts.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales leader with strong business acumen, experience managing complex B2B sales cycles, and a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing sales teams.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives.
Establish clear performance expectations, goals, and accountability measures.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions.
Support ongoing professional development, succession planning, and career growth.
Foster a culture of collaboration, customer focus, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top sales talent.
Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
Drive achievement of sales quotas, revenue targets, and profitability goals.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Monitor team performance using key sales metrics and KPIs.
Identify opportunities for market expansion, new customer acquisition, and account growth.
Partner with Account Executives on major opportunities, negotiations, and strategic customer engagements.
Ensure consistency and effectiveness throughout the sales process.
Pipeline & Forecast Management
Maintain visibility into sales pipeline performance and opportunity progression.
Conduct regular forecast reviews to support revenue predictability.
Utilize CRM tools to monitor activity, pipeline health, and performance trends.
Analyze sales data and provide recommendations to improve conversion rates and productivity.
Ensure CRM data integrity and adherence to established sales processes.
Customer & Market Leadership
Support the team in developing strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
Participate in executive-level customer meetings as needed.
Stay informed of industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions.
Provide insights and recommendations to help drive business strategy.
Collaborate with customers to understand evolving needs and identify growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
Support strategic initiatives designed to improve customer experience and sales effectiveness.
Champion alignment between customer needs and internal business capabilities.
Collaborate on pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and business planning.
Reporting & Business Planning
Deliver accurate sales forecasts and business updates to leadership.
Prepare and present business reviews and territory performance analyses.
Establish action plans to address performance gaps and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Monitor and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity.
Leadership Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of Account Executives.
Establish team goals aligned with organizational objectives.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management.
Address employee relations and performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources.
Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
Allocate resources and territory assignments to maximize productivity and revenue potential.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
5+ years of B2B sales experience.
2+ years of sales leadership experience managing direct reports.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience leading complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships.
Strong coaching and talent development capabilities.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading Account Executive teams in a consultative selling environment.
Experience with enterprise, mid-market, or strategic account management.
Advanced business, financial, and negotiation skills.
MBA or relevant professional sales certifications.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to travel approximately 25–50% as business needs require.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
