As an intern, you will join over 5, 000 talented individuals who are leaders, critical thinkers, accountable, curious, flexible and results-minded all driving toward the same goal - to delight customers and drive sales through multiple channels. Our internship program is designed with future leaders in mind and serves as a pipeline for top talent. The Intern experience at Lands’ End is a comprehensive development-based role, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing area of the business.

The LEO Operational Optimization Intern will support process improvement initiatives within one of Lands’ End’s fastest-growing businesses. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to maximize operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve scalability through data analysis and process redesign.

Successful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Strong interest in operations and process improvement
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to evaluate workflows and identify inefficiencies
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills
  • Clear and professional communication abilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current operational workflows and performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and throughput
  • Support process improvement and optimization initiatives
  • Quantify benefits related to cost, capacity, and service levels
  • Document and present recommendations to leadership
