Description:
As a part time Comer Center Program Coordinator, you will assist the Health & Wellness Supervisor and Benefits Manager in planning, coordinating, promoting, and executing company-wide, virtual, and local events and programs for employees, retirees, and their families. You will also provide assistance in the areas of health education, aquatics, recreation, health and wellness programs, and employee recognition events.
Shift: Must be able to work onsite 20-29 hours per week, primarily 1st shift hours. Must be able to adhere to hours scheduled based on specific business needs (e.g. increased availability for hours during peak season). Must be able to work occasional weekend hours based on company events and programs.
Wage: $21.20/hr
Job Summary:
• Plan and implement a variety of employee events (ex. Halloween parties, Farmers Markets, Christmas events, etc.). This would include developing a theme, planning, budgeting and ordering materials, organizing, managing and working the events.
• Develop, promote, implement, and evaluate a variety of programs and activity offerings that have a positive impact on the lives of Lands' End employees, retirees, and their families. (ex. Kids Camps, Kids Corner, craft workshops etc.)
• You will provide support to the Employee Communications team in planning and coordinating recognition opportunities (ex. anniversary events, team outings, individual recognition, etc.)
• You will work with the Health & Wellness staff to implement and communicate health education programs.
• Assists in the development of special programs in all areas.
• Instructs fitness and aquatic classes.
• Must follow all safe work practices, escalate unsafe conditions, and report incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of program attendance, cost, and vendor contacts.
• Schedule classes and programs and manage participation rosters.
• Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of fitness and aquatics equipment.

Education & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, exercise science, health education, nutrition or physical education, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of related work experience preferred
• Teaching experience in health education, fitness and/or aquatics preferred, or willingness to learn
• Group Exercise instructor certification preferred, i.e., ACSM, IDEA or AFAA or obtained within the first 6 months of employment. CPR certification required or obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
