Starting Wage: $18.51 per hour + shift differentials

Schedule: Part‑time, 60 hours per pay period

Location: Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living (La Crosse County)

About the Role

Join our Culinary Services team and help prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in a supportive, person‑centered care environment. You’ll assist with food prep, serving, dishwashing, sanitizing work areas, and safe food handling.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, portion, and serve meals

• Follow diet cards and special diet instructions

• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas and equipment

• Wash dishes (dishwasher or 3‑compartment sink)

• Store and label food and supplies

• Follow safety and infection‑control procedures

• Support resident rights and person‑centered care

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Basic food prep and sanitation skills

• Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness

• Must be at least 16 years old

• Ability to pass a background check (Wisconsin Caregiver Law)

Physical Requirements

Standing for long periods, moving throughout kitchen and facility, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing/pulling carts, and working in hot, cold, and humid environments.
