The Facilities Management Leader – FM Operations North America (Mfg) is the Service Delivery Leader who ensures satisfactory delivery of and provides oversight of all facilities services for a portion of the North America manufacturing locations.

The services include but are not limited to; Building Operations and Maintenance, Expense Project Management, EHS Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Janitorial, Grounds and Landscaping, and Reception. This position will also assist in the development and oversight of associated operations budgets for respective sites, and verification of KPI/SLA adherence and reports into the Associate Director, FM Operations for North America.

This position oversees the site service managers for each of their respective manufacturing facilities and will interface with Mill Leadership, and Mill Single Points of Contact (SPOC), K-C Supply Chain Senior leaders as needed, K-C Quality team the Real Estate Leadership team including, Real Estate Sr. Business Partner for Americas FM Regional Leaders, Global Projects, and the Global Business Services (GBS) Global Governance Team.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the Service Delivery Leader overseeing K-C’s IFM Strategic Partner at our North American manufacturing sites.
  • Drive Facilities Management strategies and service delivery solution that is aligned with the needs of K-C customers and global business.
  • Control and manage operating expense budgets for respective sites, furnish accurate financial reporting analysis and forecasting
  • Deliver on safe operation and compliance with Kimberly-Clark, Corporate Security and EHS facility policy as well as other regulatory requirements; Assure response to emergencies; support business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Drive accountability for cost effective, consistent quality facility services documented with appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure delivery of facility services provided by contracted IFM service provider and in accordance with agreed to scope of work; Conduct annual site quality control inspections at all major locations.
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance to K-C’s Customer Audits.
  • Develop asset preservation solutions to drive overall cost and reliability objectives; and drive an Asset management and Sustainability Strategy for assigned scope; Ensure coordination with corporate energy and sustainability activities.
  • Responsible for the communication and implementation of policies and procedures established by the company related to Facilities Management.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce service delivery costs and capital project costs; Partner with K-C Procurement and Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Service Provider to drive effective third party agreements for facility-related services, supplies and related costs; Participate in Supplier Governance meetings as an subject matter expert; Collaborate with GBS Global Governance COE to ensure accurate SLA and KPI reporting; and drive Continuous Improvement opportunities.
  • Key point of contact for all contractual change control notices.
  • Coordinate with the REFM Capital Projects COE and respective Mill Capital teams in review of reliability data and generate inputs into the capital planning process.
  • Ensure that the workplace supports the health and safety of all employees and visitors and that all activities are in accordance with company policies, and all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
  • Become subject matter expert for ISNet (ISN) requirements related to delivery of Facility Management services at K-C locations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Construction Management, or related field and 15+ years’ experience in facilities management, real estate management, or manufacturing operations, or related field OR 15+ years’ experience in facilities or construction management, real estate management, logistics, or related field.
  • Previous budget and scope responsibility commensurate with job requirements is a must
  • Location is flexible, prefer candidate to be close to a NA K-C manufacturing facility, but not required.
  • Proven people and project leadership abilities, along with customer stakeholder management is a must.
  • Experience in FM Consumer Goods (FMCG) manufacturing operations is a strong plus.
  • Experience implementing or managing a global Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) solution is a plus; Past experience working with IFM contracts and service providers in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience interacting, leading and working with Union employees is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

      Salary Range: 127 600 – 157 600 USD
