Looking for a hands-on production role with great pay, amazing benefits, and built-in long weekends? Hoffmaster is hiring Napkin Operators to run and maintain our high-speed folding machines. You'll enjoy a $1, 500 sign-on bonus, $1 extra/hour on nights and $2 extra/hour on weekends, and a 2-2-3 work schedule that gives you half the month off!

Location: Oconto, WI
Job Status: Full-Time
Starting Pay: $23.92/hour (Progression to $24.92/hour after 90 days)
Weekend Premium: Additional $1.00/hour on weekends
Sign-On Bonus: $1, 500
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Compensation & Benefits

Pay & Bonuses:
  • $23.92/hour starting pay
  • Pay progression to $24.92/hour at 90 days
  • $1.00/hour premium for night shifts
  • $2.00/hour premium for weekend shifts
  • $1, 500 sign-on bonus

Paid Time Off:
  • 11 paid holidays per year
  • 112 vacation hours annually (accrued at 4.31 hours per bi-weekly pay period)

What is a 2-2-3 Schedule?

Enjoy a stable rotating schedule with every other weekend off:
  • Week 1: Work Mon/Tue → Off Wed/Thu → Work Fri/Sat/Sun
  • Week 2: Off Mon/Tue → Work Wed/Thu → Off Fri/Sat/Sun

That's only 14 days of work per month!
Primary Purpose

Set up and operate folding equipment to produce napkins according to production and quality standards.
Essential Functions
  • Operate and adjust napkin folder machines
  • Perform changeovers and machine setups for various napkin types
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support basic maintenance
  • Load raw material rolls and manage machine threading and splicing
  • Complete shift documentation and quality checks
  • Communicate effectively with team members across shifts
  • Follow all safety and food safety protocols
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to read, follow, and write instructions and reports
  • Factory experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Must be able to lift, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods
  • Flexible to work shifts as needed
Physical & Sensory Requirements

Frequent: Standing, walking, reaching, pushing/pulling
Occasional: Lifting (36-50 lbs), stooping, climbing, kneeling
Senses: Good vision, hearing, and attention to detail
