The IT intern will work with the Tech Support team and Network Enterprise Manager in supporting the company's computing and telecommunication network operations and procedures. Assisting in a team environment to configure, install, support and maintain computer hardware and software, peripheral equipment, printers, servers, networks, communication equipment, and associated operating systems across the Hoffmaster Group enterprise.
Essential Job Duties: - Recycling IT hardware, including erasing hard disk drives and solid-state drives to DoD Spec
- Setting-up new employee hardware in Microsoft Intune
- Inventorying hardware assets in Active Directory
- Assisting with Tier-1 Support Issues submitted in Atlassian Jira, including unlocking Employee Active Directory Accounts. Active Directory Password Resets, Application Installations, and Basic End-User Troubleshooting.
- Assist setting-up proactive alert notifications in PRTG and Fortinet Systems, assisting our Enterprise Systems Administrator with auditing our AD Users & shared directory permissions.
- Assisting Network Administrator with updating network topology documentation via Microsoft Visio.
- Create documentation on internal processes and How-to guides for users using Atlassian Confluence
- Other tasking as directed.
Requirements: - Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in an Information Technology program such as IT Systems Engineering, Network Administration, Systems Administration, Cyber Security, IT Support, or a related field
- Ability to work independently while actively contributing to and interacting with a larger team
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be a current student and able to work on-site in Oshkosh, WI to be considered

- Full time employment- Internships and projects are designed to last 10 weeks over the summer. Hours will be Monday - Friday 8 am - 4: 30 pm and pay starts at $20 / hour.
