Hoffmaster Group Inc. is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Oshkosh, WI. This is a full-time position.

The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in leading Hoffmaster's frontline operations. You'll oversee production, distribution, and maintenance activities while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor. From coaching hourly employees to driving continuous improvement initiatives, you'll help deliver operational excellence and support the success of our manufacturing environment.

The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in leading Hoffmaster's frontline operations. You'll oversee production, distribution, and maintenance activities while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor. From coaching hourly employees to driving continuous improvement initiatives, you'll help deliver operational excellence and support the success of our manufacturing environment.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Oversee production, distribution, and maintenance activities to meet daily operational, quality, and customer goals.
- Ensure all employees follow Food Safety, GMP, HACCP, and company safety standards, proactively preventing workplace injuries.
- Track key metrics, identify trends, and implement action plans to improve production, efficiency, and quality.
- Assist with rollouts of new methods, tools, or equipment to reduce labor, material costs, and ergonomic risks.
- Supervise hourly employees and Group Leads, provide guidance, coach for performance, and escalate issues as needed.
- Communicate proactively with Plant Managers, CI Managers, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational concerns.
- Participate in safety, operational, and cross-functional meetings to support plant goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to flexibly support the business and meet production and customer needs.
The Essentials:
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Proven team supervision skills with the ability to deliver operational objectives.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience monitoring KPIs.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, Time & Attendance systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Preferred: Mechanical/technical experience, union oversight, distribution/logistics knowledge, project management experience.
