Overview
Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Cook/Aide, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will play a vital role in nourishing our residents and creating a warm, welcoming environment. Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
  • Assist with food production tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food storage spaces
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination
  • Support meal delivery by bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and assisting with food service operations
  • Manage time efficiently to meet meal schedules and accommodate resident needs
  • Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols related to sanitation and food safety standards

Qualifications
  • Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous dietary aide or culinary experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
