Utility and Civil Construction Crew Team Members play a critical role in the success of a project. Great candidates for this role are willing to dig into the dirt, build structures, operate equipment and enjoy working with a team to tackle a project from start to finish. Elexco specializes in infrastructure construction, creating high quality telecommunications networks, data centers, and utilities to support our local and extended communities. Currently, our team is working on a design-build project to build a broadband distribution network and help a new internet service provider build, open, launch, and install high speed fiber optic internet service to enhance the lives of the local community. The utility division installs fiber, repairs, and completes service work throughout Wisconsin. Our goal is to work with the best customers on the best projects utilizing the best team! Our communities benefit by receiving high quality internet service in their homes and businesses. In these position you will: Transport Equipment to and from Jobsite Read Blueprints Expose Utility Crossings (Excavation, Hydrovac) Trenching Duct Placement Pull & Direct Bury Fiber (Main-line Distribution & Drops) Set Hand Holes, PEDs Site Restoration Troubleshoot Construction Challenges Operate Heavy Equipment Troubleshoot Equipment Repairs Anticipate & Prepare for the Next Steps in Construction Process Focus on Safety and Situational Awareness Successfully Complete Projects
