Administrative Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

This role at Star Marketing is integral to the overall business model in serving our customers. This role will be a master of multi-tasking with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist in handling multiple office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and email, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. We are looking for an individual to be professional, polite, attentive, and accurate. They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. This individual must be comfortable with computers and general office tasks and excel at verbal and written communication. Most importantly, should have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others and a willingness to learn the business and solve problems.

Key Duties and essential functions:

  • Offer administrative support across the organization.

  • Distribute correspondence and redirect phone calls accordingly.

  • Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong organizational skills.

  • Work inside our ERP system to enter orders, open purchase orders, and follow up on various tasks.

  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple people are working on the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.

  • Check factory acknowledgments for accuracy.

  • Skilled in customer relationship management and project coordination.

  • Thrives in a continuous improvement atmosphere surrounded by enthusiastic and passionate colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement 18+

  • 1-2 years of industry or customer service experience

  • Excellent computer skills and Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PDF document creation.

  • Strong Attention to detail

  • Can effectively communicate.

  • Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers and contractors.

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple departments and multiple locations.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
