SUMMARY The Cycle Counter is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control, including performing inventory counts and communicating cycle counting results to Management. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Assists in developing solutions to shortages, overages and inventory discrepancies Assists in compiling data related to special projects, as requested by supervisor Ensures compliance with inventory processes and procedures, and contractual obligations Counts material in bins that have been inputted into the RF scan gun by the inventory specialist Proficient in all stockroom operations in performance of required technical or routine operational tasks per company policies and procedures. Adheres to all factory safety procedures and guidelines. Maintains clean, organized work environment and adheres to all safety standards, procedures and regulations. Contributes to team effort in a collaborative and supportive manner. *Other duties as required in support of the department and the company* SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities of this role do not include supervising other employees. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluidity in any other language is a plus. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS (Select only what is applicable) Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. JOB SKILLS Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Proficient in MS Office Suite and SharePoint. Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred. Writing skills required to complete documents and forms Reliable and flexible to work additional hours on short notice to complete orders and/or special projects to meet customer demands. Attention to detail A team player that can relate to people at all levels of the organization and possesses excellent communication skills with high ethical standards and a positive professional image. Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing and ambiguous environment. Demonstrates sound judgment when following through with priorities. Ability to effectively to questions from managers and employees. Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts with respect to job-related situations. Ability to handle interruptions and maintain focus. Experience working with an RF Gun preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical requirements outlined below indicate those necessary to fulfill this position's core responsibilities. While performing job duties, the employee will regularly engage in activities such as using hands to finger, handle, or feel and communicating verbally. Additionally, the employee will frequently need to reach with hands and arms while standing and walking as part of the role. Occasional lifting and movement of objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and using a ladder may be required. This position also demands specific vision capabilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT Warehouse environment: This is a work environment where employees typically work inside a facility and perform various tasks related to storing, processing, and shipping goods and materials. Some of the everyday activities that a warehouse worker does are preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, receiving and processing warehouse stock products, performing inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits, keeping a clean and safe working environment, and optimizing space utilization and operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment. Manufacturing environment: A work environment in a manufacturing plant is the physical and social setting where goods production occurs. Depending on the type of product, process, and plant, the work environment may vary in terms of noise, temperature, safety, and demand. Common characteristics of a work environment in a manufacturing plant are the use of machinery and exposure to hazards such as chemicals, heat, dust, or noise, with a culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement. Hearing protection in specific locations. Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.
