Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) – Medical Cyclotron Facility

Job Requirements

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to oversee radiation safety and support cyclotron operations at our medical isotope production facility. The ideal candidate must hold a valid AERB-approved RSO certification and have experience working with medical cyclotron systems and radioactive materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the medical cyclotron and associated production equipment.

Ensure compliance with AERB regulations and radiation safety standards.

Conduct radiation monitoring, safety inspections, and maintain regulatory records.

Perform quality control testing and prepare production-related chemical solutions.

Support equipment maintenance and ensure facility operational readiness.

Maintain laboratory cleanliness and safety standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient isotope production.

Required Qualifications:

• Education in sciences preferred nuclear Medicine / Bachelor or Master in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

• RSO Certification in Medical cyclotron from AERB India (Mandatory).

• Experience in operating medical cyclotron equipment.

• Familiarity with radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance.

• Ability to work overnight shifts and flexible to work in alternative shift.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
