Your impact as an Administrative Assistant is Vital. You will be supporting Vitalant's life saving mission by supporting the staff that schedules and coordinates our blood drives in Spokane, Washington.

As an Admin Assistant you will: - Provide advanced clerical support (e.g., preparing reports, statistical spreadsheets, and assists with non-routine projects).
- Create publicity materials and postings on community social channels for awareness of upcoming blood drives.
- Support community event blood drives in the community and offer blood drive coverage as needed.
- Assist with Account Manager onboarding of system enhancements.
- Perform data entry and retrieval of information through the use of various software applications.
- Coordinate the incoming and outgoing distribution of mail, express mail/package services, inter-center mail, and/or other correspondence. Maintain records as required.
- Oversee or coordinate logistics of activities and meetings, to include set-up and audio-visual equipment.
- Maintains department supplies (e.g., forms, office supplies, etc.).
- Receive and route all incoming telephone calls. Screen and direct individuals to the appropriate staff member.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements Education: Highschool Diploma / GED
Associates Degree preferred
Experience: Two years related experience required
Thorough working knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment required.
